Job Summary
The Campus President serves as the voice and face of the College on campus and in the surrounding community and is responsible and accountable for leading initiatives that contribute to the vibrancy, growth, and economic stability of Dallas County. Responsibilities include the following:
(1) Sector Development, (2) Community Engagement, and (3) Campus Leadership.
The College is taking an innovative approach to employer engagement with Campus Presidents serving as sector leads for regional needs. As the College continues to grow and add value to our students, our community, and our stakeholders, the Campus President will leverage expertise in sector development to expand and open doors to drive student success by leveraging one or more of our targeted industry sectors:
1. Healthcare
2. Business, Professional & Financial Services
3. Aerospace 4. Manufacturing
5. Information Technology
6. Arts & Entertainment
7. Transportation & Logistics
8. Construction

Key Responsibilities- Lead assigned sector engagement for the region.
- Develop, execute, and create outreach strategies that drive the College’s growth in defined areas including sector development.
- Research & identify community prospects and key leaders with decision‑making authority over the organization’s education and training programs.
- Research includes opportunities for the College to provide education and training programs, and bridge students to career opportunities.
- Build strong alliances with community and business decision‑makers to articulate challenges, solutions, and problem‑solving to gain support for the College and its students.
- Stay on top of trends to continue to create and build innovative solutions to drive positive results for the College and its constituents.
- Create and deliver compelling messaging and content that resonates with the target audiences (students, employees, customers).
- Develop and manage an aggressive schedule of field visits to offices, professional conferences, and professional association events to advance relationships purposed to position the College as a preferred education and training provider.
- Develop, review, monitor, and track the status of active contracts/agreements to monitor, manage, and report on customer satisfaction toward proactive renewal of contracts and agreements.
- Review and make recommendations related to contract language for new partnerships, in collaboration with the College’s Legal and Finance team.
- Model a collaborative, leadership approach beginning with the needs of students, employers, and community, that are in alignment with the vision for the College.
- Leaders in Community Engagement to drive their Mission.
- Serve as the face and voice of College in the community near campus.
- Engage in community outreach activities that broaden partnerships, expand resources, and build overall capacity in support of current and future students.
- Active engagement with community organizations, chambers of commerce, school districts, and civic groups.
- Be an advocate for your campus.
- Be a visible campus leader and actively participate in campus events.
- Engage in cross‑functional teams to drive strategies that advance the College’s key initiatives. Functional teams include leadership and representatives from Academics, Student Success, Operations, Workforce Development, and Community Engagement.
- Annually, and in collaboration with the cross‑functional team, develop and manage a prospect outreach plan that includes an event and contact calendar that aligns with established goals.
- Provide leadership at the local campus and ensure alignment of key initiatives, communications, and employee engagement programs.
- Act as a change agent at the local campus in alignment with system initiatives and goals.
