Overview
Senior Manager, Learning & Organizational Development
Travel:
Approximately 25%
We're partnering with a global industry leader to identify a Senior Manager, Learning & Organizational Development, who will play a pivotal role in transforming how employees and leaders develop across a complex, multi-site manufacturing organization.
This is more than a traditional L&D role. You'll have the opportunity to build enterprise learning strategies, modernize leadership development, establish a centralized Learning Center of Excellence, and create scalable solutions that directly impact business performance worldwide.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise Learning & Organizational Development strategy.
- Build scalable leadership development programs supporting emerging, frontline, mid-level, and senior leaders.
- Design employee development experiences that strengthen internal mobility, career growth, and organizational capability.
- Establish governance, standards, and enterprise learning architecture across global locations.
- Lead a centralized L&D shared services team supporting instructional design, learning operations, analytics, and documentation.
- Drive learning technology strategy, including LMS/LXP optimization and modern learning methodologies.
- Manage external learning partners, vendors, and departmental budgets.
- Develop measurement frameworks and analytics that demonstrate business impact and ROI of learning investments.
- 8+ years of progressive Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Talent Development experience.
- 5+ years leading enterprise learning teams and large-scale development initiatives.
- Experience building or evolving leadership development frameworks.
- Strong background supporting global or multi-region organizations.
- Experience with in manufacturing or similarly complex operational environments.
- Proven success managing instructional design teams, learning technologies, vendors, and enterprise budgets.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Data-driven mindset with experience measuring learning effectiveness and business outcomes.
- Build a best-in-class enterprise Learning Center of Excellence.
- Shape leadership development for a global workforce.
- Introduce innovative learning approaches, including AI-enabled learning, simulations, digital coaching, and blended learning experiences.
- Partner directly with senior business leaders on workforce capability and organizational transformation.
- Lead a talented team while creating scalable programs that will influence the organization for years to come.
