Transportation Project Manager, PMS / PSNE ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager to support transportation project delivery in the Dallas market. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer with deep TxDOT experience, full‑cycle project management experience, client‑facing leadership, and the ability to help write and win proposals.
The Dallas office needs a Transportation Project Manager who can lead PS&E and PMS project delivery, manage client relationships, supervise project staff, and support business development efforts. The ideal candidate has experience managing TxDOT transportation projects from scoping through closeout and brings a proven record of delivering projects while helping secure new work.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage transportation projects through the full project lifecycle, from proposal and scoping through final delivery
- Execute PS&E and PMS work in compliance with TxDOT standards and requirements
- Lead client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
- Supervise project staff and provide technical guidance throughout project execution
- Participate in or lead proposal writing, pursuit strategy, and business development efforts
- Coordinate across roadway, drainage, bridge, utility, environmental, and other project disciplines as needed
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, deliverables, and client expectations
- Support long‑term growth in the Dallas transportation market through client service and project delivery
- Licensed Professional Engineer, PE, required
- Experience serving as Project Manager on TxDOT transportation projects
- PS&E experience required, Plans, Specifications, and Estimate
- PSNE experience a plus, professional services negotiation or related TxDOT project delivery experience
- Full‑cycle project management experience from scoping through closeout
- Experience writing proposals, supporting pursuits, and helping win work
- Proven client management and relationship‑building skills
- Supervisory experience leading and developing project staff
- Excellent communication, coordination, and technical leadership skills
- Dallas, Fort Worth, or North Texas transportation project experience preferred
- $140,000 to $190,000, commensurate with experience
