Corporate Systems Delivery Leader - Onsite Dallas, TX

Job Description

The Delivery Leader is accountable for the different initiatives of the Corporate Systems portfolio. The Delivery Leader partners with the Portfolio Owner and his direct reports to ensure initiatives are delivered with the intended business outcomes through the means of project implementation and operational support.

Strategy, Business Initiative, Portfolio Engagement

• End-to-End ownership and accountability of portfolio of programs (multiple related and unrelated programs) for strategic outcomes and business values
• Develop program strategy in meeting business goals and priorities
• End-to-End ownership and accountability of programs for strategic outcomes and business values
• Cross-Project coordination, dependency management, and strategic alignment
• Aligns and Adapt initiatives to business goals and stakeholder priorities
• Outcome-driven, focusing on strategic results and delivering business value, rather than project implementation alone
• Bridges strategy and execution across initiatives to maximize efficiency and chance of achieving business goals
• Partner with Portfolio Owner from ideation to implementation (business initiatives, values, business case, KPI definition & Collection, financial, implementation, KPI Collections)

Team & Project Management

• Direct (generate new thinking vs following instruction alone) and make decisions to guide team through challenge and unchartered areas
• Charter new areas and responsibilities as organization evolve to meet business goals
• Providing direction and fostering collaboration
• Supervise Delivery Managers of service lines
• Capacity planning of demands and incoming projects
• Delivery Manager assignment, prioritization, and recruitment of FTE/contractor
• Oversee project health throughout project life cycle. Get involved and hands-on as required to ensure project success
• Provide support and coaching to other Delivery Leader, Delivery Managers, and Delivery Specialist
• Owns, applies, and upholds Enterprise PMO governance and procedure to ensure adherence for success
• Serves as a point of project escalation. Pro-actively works across groups to mitigate risk and resolve issues
• Drives a behavior of transparency, urgency, results, and escalation as appropriate
• Review of work and deliveries of assigned Delivery Managers
• End to End project implementation ownership and accountability (Planning, Resource, Risk, Issue, Escalation, Financial, Execution, Delivery, Communication, Phase Gate, Deliverables/Artifacts, KPI collections)
• Project Dashboard Development and Maintenance:
  This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project dashboards, providing clear status updates, and facilitating effective executive communications to keep stakeholders informed
• Project Performance Monitoring:
  By implementing performance monitoring and reporting mechanisms, the Delivery Manager will ensure that projects stay on track and meet key performance indicators (minimum: schedule, scope, quality, and budget measurements and reporting)
• Budget and Financial Management:
  Effective management of project budgets and financial reporting will be a primary responsibility, ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently and financial objectives are met
• Resource Management:
  The Delivery Manager will oversee project resource management, including contractor setup, hardware and software provisioning, and access management
• Vendor Deliverables and Contract Management:
  This role will include managing vendor deliverables and overseeing contract performance for projects, ensuring compliance with agreements and timely delivery of outcomes

Cross Functional

• Pro-actively develop and drive project delivery improvement
• End to End shared ownership of IT services from business initiatives, project implementation, to operational sustainment (like reporting out of operational work)
• Stays abreast of other initiatives and operational work within the enterprise to develop a big-picture view
• Be the change agent in ideation, alignment, implementation, and adoption
• Be cross functional and able to lead outside of assigned scope of work
