Program Manager, Clinical Practice Operations

The Program Manager of Clinical Practice Operations supports the implementation and execution of clinical operational initiatives related to the acquisition and integration of primary care and urgent care practices. This role performs detailed, on-site assessments, coordinates implementation of approved recommendations, and partners closely with practice leadership to operationalize workflows, policies, training, and system enhancements; consults and serves as liaison for clinical documentation enhancements with EPIC build team;

guides the development of patient education programs and materials for physician corporation practices. The Program Manager works under the strategic guidance of the Director of Clinical Operations and is accountable for day-to-day execution and progress tracking along with oversight and management of Clinical Integration Specialist(s).

Responsibilities:

  • Performs detailed on-site assessments of clinical workflows, staffing models, and care processes within acquired practices
  • Implements approved clinical and operational recommendations in collaboration with practice leadership and system partners
  • Supports rollout of standardized policies, procedures, clinical guidelines, and workflows
  • Coordinates EMR enhancements and workflow changes with build teams and end users to ensure adoption
  • Facilitates clinical training, onboarding, and competency validation activities in partnership with clinical educators
  • Supports recruitment and onboarding processes for clinical staff during practice integration
  • Assists in deployment of patient education programs and materials within practices
  • Tracks progress, outcomes, and adoption of implemented initiatives; reports status and risks to leadership
  • Provides ongoing support to practices during transition and stabilization phases

Work Experience:

  • At least 8 years Direct patient care experience as an RN in a variety of patient care settings Required
  • At least 2 years Direct patient care in a pediatric health care setting Required
  • At least 2 years Ambulatory practice; direct patient care and/or management experience Preferred

Education:

  • Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Bachelor of Science in Nursing Required
  • Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience Preferred

Licenses and

Certifications:

  • Texas RN License Required
  • SLS Upon Hire Required
