Platform: High-Growth Multi-Site Veterinary Group
Compensation: $130K-$150K Base + 20% Bonus (flexibility for the right individual)
About the Opportunity:Our client, a rapidly growing multi-site Veterinary platform, is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to oversee approximately 30-40 locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
With the organization continuing to expand its footprint, this individual will take responsibility for operational strategy and execution across the region, primarily leading and developing the multi-site operational leaders beneath them.
This is a field-focused leadership position, with approximately 2-3 days per week spent across clinics & supporting operational leaders in the market.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide operational leadership across approximately 30-40 Veterinary locations
- Lead, coach and develop multi-site operational leaders across the region
- Drive execution of the regional operational strategy across all locations
- Build accountability and consistency across a large, growing multi-site portfolio
- Analyse operational and financial KPIs to identify opportunities and areas requiring improvement
- Partner with practice and clinical leadership to drive sustainable hospital performance
- Identify under-performing locations and support operational leaders in implementing improvement plans
- Support continued growth and the integration of additional locations into the market
- Develop strong operational leaders and build succession plans across the region
- Drive adoption of operational best practices while allowing leaders closest to the patient to make effective decisions
- Partner with senior leadership on regional priorities, growth initiatives and operational strategy
- Maintain a visible presence across the market, spending approximately 2-3 days per week in clinics and with field leadership
- Ensure operational resources and support are effectively deployed across the region
- Significant multi-site operations leadership experience within Veterinary or Animal Health
- Experience managing a significant multi-site P&L with accountability for revenue, EBITDA and overall financial performance
- Strong experience leading and developing multi-site managers or regional operational leaders
- Experience overseeing a large regional portfolio of locations
- Strong commercial and operational acumen with the ability to interpret KPIs and identify areas for improvement
- Proven ability to drive accountability and consistent execution across multiple locations
- Strong coaching and leadership-development capabilities
- Comfortable operating within a decentralized leadership structure
- Hands-on, field-oriented leadership style
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to partner effectively with clinical leaders
- Senior regional leadership responsibility
- Significant autonomy across the market
- Direct influence over operational strategy and execution
