AECOM is seeking a Project Manager
- Aviation to be based in Dallas, Texas.
Responsible for managing one or more aviation projects, including responsibility for scope, schedule and budget adherence in accordance with the written project documents and established policies and procedures. Project Managers will be responsible for projects from Business Case through Closeout.
Responsibilities include administering one or more projects, overseeing all design and construction support activities for each assigned project, overseeing the design consultants to ensure design projects stay on schedule and on budget, overseeing the design review process to verify comments are tracked, responded to and closed out expeditiously per the required timelines, reporting on projects weekly via the Project Status Reports, utilizing the DFW approved software to manage projects, ensuring the coordination of all project activities with airport tenants, airlines, DFW departments, governmental and other agencies, proactively resolving issues to keep projects on schedule and minimize client exposure, proactively working to avoid claims and resolve claims expeditiously to minimize client exposure, preparing and submitting to senior management and/or DFW-DCC monthly report(s) detailing the progress, accomplishments, issues and current status of the project, reviewing and concurring in the proposed settlement of change orders, claims, and revisions to the design and/or construction scope, schedule and budget, assisting DFW-DCC as requested in the development of RFQ's and RFP's and providing support as requested during the procurement process, leading (or approving) the negotiation of design and construction phase services, consultant fees and change orders, providing documentation and recommending acceptance by DFW-DCC, and working closely with the Construction Manager to ensure projects are successful and in line with DFW goals and objectives.
Minimum requirements include a BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, and must possess a valid Class C driver's license and be able to obtain a certification to drive in DFW's AOA movement area.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project or Construction Management + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, Civil PE license preferred but not required, previous aviation project management experience preferred but not required, must be able to obtain a SIDA-cleared badge at DFW, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
