What you'll do in the role:
Manage end-to-end project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables for program initiatives, ensuring timely execution and transparent reporting
Lead change management efforts, including process redesign, stakeholder adoption, implementation planning, and communications to support enhancements to the due diligence assessment process
Lead, coach, and enable assessment team members to achieve personal and program-level objectives while fostering accountability, collaboration, and a high-performance operating model
Be a culture carrier for the Assessment function's objectives and purpose. Play a key role in building and harboring strong relationships with strategic stakeholders across the Firm supporting transparency of our role and helping to inform expectations
Identify, prioritize, and deliver continuous improvement initiatives that increase quality, consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the due diligence assessment program
Serve as a subject matter expert by interpreting risk and control issues and providing guidance on related observations
Present findings to management and governance bodies, including preparing clear and concise responses to compliance and regulatory requests
Prepare executive and regulator level presentations and supporting materials at both a Strategic and Technical level of detail to address specific requests about the program
Review and update key process documentation such as Policies, Procedures, Desktop Guidance and instructional and guidance materials.
What you'll bring to the role:
Proven experience leading high-performing Third-Party Risk Assessment teams, including coaching, prioritization, workload management, and quality oversight
Bachelor's degree in:
Business Administration, Risk Management, or a similar fieldA minimum of 10+ years of experience leading team operations, assessments and / or major projects preferably for a Risk function and / or at a Financial Firm Professional qualifications from industry standard institutions such as ISACA is a plus Demonstrated project management expertise, including governance, planning, execution, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, and senior stakeholder reporting
Financial industry experience especially focused on Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery Controls and risk methodologies
Strong drive for Change Management execution with the ability to influence stakeholders, embed new ways of working, and foster a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement
Ability to build and sustain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization and manage global stakeholders.
