Job Description and Requirements The Regional Vice President (RVP) is responsible for the development and oversight of the branches in the region to ensure the highest level of quality member service is provided in accordance with the overall Credit Union strategic plan while remaining compliant with applicable laws/regulations and internal policies/procedures. The RVP will motivate, coach and grow branch leadership through developed productivity enhancement initiatives while managing project collaboration and implementation for the benefit and efficiencies of branch staff, processes as well as positive impact to the member interaction.
Collaborates with other departments to establish and update internal operating policies and procedures to guarantee efficient approaches to branch operations and function. Additionally, the RVP will analyze statistical data and provide documentation and recommendations for training implementation and procedural changes. Travel is required periodically to different RBFCU sites. Branch locations include:
Allen, DNT El Dorado, Frisco, Garland, McKinney May occasionally be asked to work at other RBFCU locations as needed. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Risk and Compliance Work with the Branch Manager to ensure enforcement of state and federal laws/Regulations and RBFCU polices and procedures, while monitoring productivity and quality. Manage CFPB complaint resolution process, according to applicable state and federal laws/regulations for the region to include, conducting investigation, implementing coaching/training based on nature of complaint to prevent future occurrences. Personally review and/or resolve escalated member concerns/incidents received for region to identify patterns and determine proactive steps to improve overall member service while remaining compliant.
Review, evaluate, and implement changes to policy and procedures to ensure compliance standards are met. Oversee Strategic Operations Collaborates with branch managers to develop, review, and refine the regional strategic plan, establishing goals that align with corporate objectives and annual priorities outlined in the corporate strategic plan. Ensure plans are dynamic and responsive to evolving market conditions and organizational priorities.
Develops and mentors branch management by providing training, coaching, and ensuring accountability to the strategic plan and staff development. Communicates job expectations, monitors performance, appraises results, and reviews contributions to drive continuous improvement. Stays informed on economic development in the region while encouraging branch management collaboration with Business Development to cultivate new membership opportunities. Enrich professional relationships between branches and other departments through open dissemination of information, sharing member concerns, and resolving issues to enhance overall member experience.
Generate and explore ideas and concepts to improve process and eliminate inefficiencies or risk. Utilize strong interpersonal and technical skills to lead and participate in pilot projects. Provide input on best practices for development and implementation of new systems, programs, products or services. Ensure smooth integration of new initiatives and operational improvements across branches. Staff and Self Development Regularly assesses strengths and weaknesses of branch performance, through analyzing branch data, to include branch and individual scorecards, and MXP surveys.
Utilize this information to coach/mentor branch manager to achieve maximum results while fostering a culture of growth and development. Review and revise scorecards and develop in-branch training content to promote operational excellence across all regions. Conducts regular on-site visits to complete meetings with management to review/discuss performance of branch, team, and management; frequency determined by overall branch needs; at least quarterly, twice quarterly preferred.
