The RoleThe Community Services Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple community programs and leading a team of outreach and program staff. Reporting to the Director of Services, this position coordinates outreach efforts, supervises staff, and provides case management for residents across key programs, including Gateway, SURE, STRMU, and PHP. The Manager ensures successful program implementation and compliance while building strong relationships with residents and service providers, and is focused on delivering high-quality services to the community.
WhatYou'll Do
The Community Services Manager leads outreach, program management, and case management functions across ASD's core community programs. This role supervises program and outreach staff, ensures regulatory compliance and accurate reporting, and serves as a key point of contact for residents, community partners, and internal administrative systems.
Program Management & Supervision- Manage and supervise Intake & Outreach, PHP, STRMU, Emergency Voucher/Hotel Placement, Master Leasing, the Inside/Out After school Program, VISTA, and 511 (as needed).
- Provide staff oversight, including reviewing and approving timesheets in Paycom and completing 90-day staff evaluations.
- Provide leadership and supervision to program staff, guiding them toward program objectives, and track performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Inside/Out Children's Program, ensuring program goals are met and services are delivered with quality.
- Serve as the department's Outreach Coordinator, conducting outreach activities and supervising secondary outreach workers.
- Represent ASD at community events as an agency ambassador, building relationships with potential residents, local agencies, and community partners.
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in community outreach events, including preparing and setting up outreach booths and materials.
- Assist with client intakes, Housing CAS enrollments, and related Housing CAS activities, and coordinate housing placements across all ASD properties.
- Schedule and coordinate potential resident panel interviews and complete criminal background checks for new move-ins.
- Serve as Program Manager/Case Manager for the Master Leasing Program.
- Complete move-in, annual, and interim recertifications.
- Manage the Master Leasing rent spreadsheet and maintain accurate, up-to-date program records to support compliance and reporting.
- Manage the ASDCIS waitlist, auditing data entry and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Remove individuals and families from the waitlist once housing has been secured, and purge inactive applications in accordance with program requirements.
- Maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring closed files are removed from cabinets and required documents are scanned and uploaded to the database.
- Serve as Padmission Administrator, completing financial assistance requests for new move-ins.
- Serve as Work Number and Social Security Administration Administrator, completing employment and Social Security benefit verifications.
- Serve as TAA Lease Administrator in Blue Moon, generating, managing, and renewing all leases.
- Assist with property management and act as liaison for ASD management at La Maison @ Five Eleven.
- Complete monthly HOPWA reports for Outreach, PHP, STRMU, Master Leasing, and Emergency Voucher programs.
- Audit and update HMIS enrollments for Master Leasing, Emergency Voucher, PHP, STRMU, 511, and CAS programs.
- Prepare for programmatic audits, ensuring program records and documentation are accurate and complete.
- Prepare progress reports, goals, and key metrics through Bloom Growth, and PowerPoint presentations for site visits and leadership meetings.
- Complete quarterly reports for the Board of Directors.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential case and program records within established timelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
