The Shipping Lead is responsible for overseeing daily shipping operations, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment, and leading a team of seven shipping employees. This role promotes efficiency, safety, quality, and employee development while maintaining high customer service standards.

Role Responsibilities:

Supervise and support a team of shipping associates to achieve daily operational goals.

Coordinate shipping activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Monitor workflow, productivity, and shipping accuracy.

Train, coach, and motivate employees while promoting a positive team environment.

Enforce safety procedures and maintain compliance with company policies.

Resolve shipping issues and collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to improve efficiency.

Prerequisites:

Leadership or supervisory experience required.

Shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Forklift experience is a plus.

Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and team-first mindset.
