Position Summary:

The Program Director, Clinical Services provides critical oversight and leadership, serving both the SDCC and CDCC, directing clinical programs that serve thousands of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault annually, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic and supportive services across Dallas County.

The position supervises clinicians and college graduates pursuing their Master's in Counseling, LPC tract. You will provide day-to-day supervision, training, and coaching, and collaborate with the Sr. Director of Non-Residential on client service delivery and ensure 100% accuracy in client documentation and database management.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Supervision & Operations
  • Provide day-to-day supervision of clinicians and practicum students, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic services.
  • Ensure Non-Residential Case Managers complete client intakes and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Review database daily to ensure 100% accuracy regarding client case management services
  • Manage concerns relating to scheduling and/or client grievances
  • Work with the Operations Team to ensure Non-Residential Case Managers are properly trained on safety cameras, client entrance protocols, and all safety protocols for entering the building.
Staff Training & Development
  • Ensure new staff members have a smooth, informative, and productive onboarding process during their first year of employment by providing orientation, mentoring, coaching, and training; send feedback surveys to new staff throughout their first year to capture their orientation experience.
  • Encourage staff development and education; facilitate ongoing monthly training to Non-Residential Case Managers on domestic violence issues, intake procedures, crisis intervention and de-escalation, etc., and monitor regularly to ensure staff maintain professional knowledge.
Administration & Program Support
  • Ensure coordination of communication with staff and clients to enhance services.
  • Facilitate weekly individual supervision and monthly team meetings; monitor the effectiveness of services being provided.
  • Attend weekly supervision and team meetings with Program Directors.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Non-Residential Services regarding client service delivery and assist with monitoring program
  • Interview and screen potential staff for open Non-Residential Case Managers
  • Administer annual and mid-year employee evaluations; provide coaching and performance feedback to members of the team
  • Work with the Sr. Director of Non-Residential Services in addressing employee disciplinary notices, performance improvement plans, etc.
