General Manager-Exempt
Lake Cities Municipal Utility Authority in Lake Dallas, Texas is seeking an experienced and dedicated General Manager to lead the operations of a local Water/Wastewater district.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily district operations and staff, ensure regulatory compliance and quality service, manage budgets, financial planning, and resources, coordinate maintenance projects, and infrastructure needs, and work effectively with the Board of Directors, employees, customers, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred (but not required) in one or more of the following:
Civil Engineering, Public Administration, Business Administration, Utility Management, Related Field, Seven to ten years of progressively responsible experience in water and wastewater operations or management. Minimum of five years in a senior leadership or management role. Experience with budgeting, capital improvement planning, personnel management and utility operations.

Certifications:
The following licenses and certifications are preferred but not required:
Class B Water Operator License, Class B Wastewater Operator License, Public Manager Certification, Professional Engineer, Utility Management Certification.
