Market Vice President, Property & Casualty

Seeking an experienced and dynamic Market Vice President to lead the Property & Casualty division of an organization. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving operational strategy, team performance, profitability, and client-service delivery. The division comprises approximately 65% Commercial Lines and 35% Personal Lines, with a strong focus on service operations. This position does not include responsibility for the sales department.

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in insurance agency operations, a proven track record of leadership, and a deep understanding of both Commercial and Personal Lines.

• Base Salary: $175,000-$200,000

• Lead and support the Commercial Lines and Personal Lines Team Leads.
• Establish clear expectations and drive performance accountability.
• Develop high-performing, collaborative service teams.
• Build leadership capabilities within the division.
• Support hiring, employee development, retention, and HR-related responsibilities.
• Maintain visibility into team workflows and day-to-day operations.

• Oversee the service operations of the Property & Casualty division.
• Monitor workflows, expirations, service standards, and operational performance.
• Run and analyze reports to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Establish and manage team metrics to improve efficiency, client service, retention, and scalability.
• Ensure the division adapts effectively to changing market conditions.

• Monitor the division's profit-and-loss performance.
• Support budgeting, profitability, and revenue forecasting.
• Identify opportunities to optimize income while balancing client-service quality with operational and financial performance.

• Strengthen and optimize carrier relationships.
• Understand carrier appetite, market developments, and placement challenges.
• Shape strategies to serve clients effectively.
• Provide executive support for complex client or renewal situations.

• Minimum of 10 years of insurance-industry experience.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience.
• Property & Casualty agency or brokerage experience.
• Strong understanding of both Commercial Lines and Personal Lines operations, with a preference for a Commercial Lines background.
• Experience managing profit-and-loss performance.
• Active Texas Property & Casualty license.
• Strong knowledge of insurance carriers and market relationships.
• Proven ability to lead through Team Leads and influence a larger indirect reporting structure.
• Strong analytical, operational, and performance-management skills.

• Experience with Applied Epic.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools for operational performance analysis.
• Professional insurance designations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Life and Health license.
