We’re looking for an experienced Senior Weld Technician (Level
3) to join our high‑performance team. This role is responsible for performing advanced welding operations, developing and qualifying weld procedures, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring compliance with all quality, safety, and engineering standards.
- Perform advanced welding and fabrication on complex components using MIG, TIG, and other welding processes.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Set up and operate manual and automated welding equipment with precision and consistency.
- Conduct weld inspections and testing in accordance with company‑specific standards.
- Assist in weld procedure development, qualification, and documentation.
- Mentor and train lower‑level weld technicians on best practices, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve weld‑related issues.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all shop activities.
- Minimum 7+ years of hands‑on welding experience, preferably in a field repair/manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Proficient in TIG and MIG welding on various materials (steel, stainless, aluminum, titanium, etc.).
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Proven track record of meeting quality and production goals.
- Welding certification(s) or equivalent professional credentials.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with orbital or automated welding systems.
- Knowledge of NDT methods (visual, dye penetrant, radiographic, etc.).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Previous experience in defense, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing industries.
$28 – $42 an hour

Pay within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment). All offers are contingent on a cleared background and possible reference check.
