Operations group provides our semiconductor manufacturing customers with on site safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of the gases and chemicals needed on a daily basis in the production of electronics materials.  This service requires operating and maintaining gas and chemical distribution equipment and systems 24/7 without issue or interruption.

Hazardous Waste Technician (Primary Responsibility):
* Ensure proper transfer of materials to the dock hazardous waste storage area, including utilization of appropriate maintenance, documentation, equipment, labeling, and procedures. Follow proper procedures for handling spills/emergencies, pour-up of materials, segregation of compatible materials, preparation for waste/containers for shipment, and forklift operation
* Support waste minimization programs/activities, and maintain understanding of applicable hazardous waste laws
* Maintain and operate liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment
* Perform intermediate gas/chemical troubleshooting and repair of delivery equipment
* Perform daily rounds, including recording readings, completing safety inspections, monitoring online gas and chemical systems, verifying toxic gas monitoring operations, and completing chemical tote/drum and gas cylinder change-outs
* Monitor and understand correct liquid bulk delivery procedures for each product on site
* Perform bulk gas and chemical trailer transfers.
* Provide information for and initiate proper reporting procedures per on-site policies including, but not limited to:
Quality Incident Reports, product acceptance, tank fill, inventory and material usage, bulk gas analysis, analyzer calibration, monitoring, safety parameters, and personnel requirements
* Assist in the identification and resolution of gas/chemical-related manufacturing problems
* Active member of the Emergency Response Team
* Satisfactorily complete TGCM Tech 6 local OJT and qualification requirements within 12 months in job
* Issue Hazardous Work Permits
* Restart all high purity gas and/or chemical delivery equipment
* Participate in customer and Air Liquide programs including, but not limited to:
Safety, Training, Operations, and Preventive Maintenance
* Support training of TGCM contractors and Tech 5 employees
* Assist in the development and maintenance of applicable site-specific work instructions
* Comply with all applicable HS&E Standards including, but not limited to: PPE, Forklift Operations, Lock Out/Tag Out Program, Confined Space Entry, etc.
* Complete assigned tasks per existing procedures
* Performs minor analytical procedures and/or sampling procedures
* Accountable for the safety of all persons, and general public surrounding facilities
