Quality Technician w/Soldering
Fort Worth, TX 76177
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Summary:
Perform high level possibly complex operations such as inspection, assembly, disassembly, packaging and testing for mobile phones and/or similar electronic products. Position will also involve quality inspection PC boards and other components along with quality of soldering at the board level. Appropriately handle material supply and scrap coordination and other tasks assigned to meet production targets (quality, quantity and time).
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent and a minimum of 2 years working as a Production Operator Level II or equivalent experience.
- Soldering Experience Required
- Electronics Quality Control Experience Required
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Ability to read and understand Work Instruction and perform tasks as written.
- Ability to properly handle and control materials.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities- Perform repairs, assembly, dis‑assembly and re‑assembly of components using manual or mechanical tools per Work Instruction.
- Understand the Production Flow process and the job responsibilities of the area.
- Use designated tools to protect the product from scratches, drops and other issues related to proper handling of the unit.
- Ensure Work Instructions are followed for appropriate processing and provide input for optimization/improvements as necessary.
- Receive, verify, inspect and control both compliant and non‑compliant materials where applicable.
- Follow quality standards defined in the work instruction.
- Report immediately to Line Leader any incident that may put product targets, quality of the product or employee safety or work labor environment at risk.
- Receive, control and store material (material kit for the Line or shipping) maintaining the proper inventory levels.
- Work with scrap control and proper disposition.
- Verify that any rejected unit is properly identified and taken to designated area ensuring that quantity, failed code and type of failure is clearly identified.
- Inspect equipment and tools to identify any replacements, malfunctions and/or repairs and elevate to leaders for correction, including the quality of soldered components.
- Ensure materials and equipment assigned are safeguarded and preserved/protected at all times.
- Follow ESD required practices for testing and utilization of ESD straps and possibly protective clothing where applicable.
- Use designated tools to perform the job and elevate to a leader when help is required, to eliminate the possibility of workmanship errors.
- Comply with the Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Management Systems and regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area daily, according to 5S standards.
- Comply with the annual mandatory training plan.
- Other duties as assigned.
Accept a background check to be performed.
Authorized to work in the US.
Prior Soldering experience.
Minimum of 2 years of production or electronic repair experience.
English proficiency.
