The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading daily maintenance operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing performance. This role oversees the repair, maintenance, and installation of machinery, equipment, and facility systems while supporting production goals, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement efforts across the plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support the Maintenance team, including scheduling, training, and daily work assignments
  • Partner with the Maintenance Planner to prioritize and assign work orders effectively
  • Ensure preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance is completed on time and meets quality standards
  • Adjust priorities to support production needs and minimize downtime
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and labor records
  • Promote a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and cGMP standards
  • Support cost control initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  • Uphold food safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands‑on experience
  • Proven experience leading or supervising maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of maintenance planning processes
  • Understanding of asset reliability and equipment lifecycle best practices
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing regulations, including FDA, USDA, OSHA, and EPA standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CMMS systems
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
  • Effective leadership skills, including coaching and team development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stay organized and maintain attention to detail in a fast‑paced production environment
