First Shift

RS Cabinet Maker II is responsible for fabricating aircraft furniture and wood-surfaced subassemblies in accordance with aircraft specifications, engineering drawings, and blueprints while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

• Fabricate aircraft furniture and wood-surfaced subassemblies
• Assemble, pin, and glue cabinet shells
• Install drawer slides, hinges, latches, and other hardware
• Apply laminates, veneers, and cap strips
• Operate stationary and hand‑held power tools
• Use material tracking systems to create parts demand and sign off completed work
• Follow all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies
• Support Lean and process improvement initiatives
• Protect aircraft interiors during fabrication and installation

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of cabinetmaking experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Basic knowledge of cabinetmaking tools and processes
• Computer literate
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in confined spaces
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Aerospace industry experience
• Working knowledge of inspection and process specifications
