Assemble, disassemble and repair pumps, motors, cylinders and valves. Diagnose problems and identify parts needed to repair. Test all items, perform work in both shop and field environment.

• Repairs pumps, motors, cylinders and valves.
• Tear down pumps, motors, cylinders and valves for repair. Identify parts needed.
• Build new pumps, motors, cylinders and valves.
• Assist in machine shop as needed.
• Test completed pumps, motors, valves and cylinders according to written procedures.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment and machinery.
• Record parts and materials needed and request new items as necessary.
• Maintain a neat and orderly shop.
• Hone/repair barrels.
• Provide assistance in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and controls.
• Maintain test stands and equipment in accordance with ISO procedures.
• Know, understand and abide by environmental policies.
• Weld as needed.

• Hands on mechanical aptitude.

• Accept responsibility and account for actions.
• Make decisions while following company procedures.
• Keep management apprised of work and backlog.
• Use cranes and other heavy and light machines, and equipment.

High School Graduate or GED/Vocational School.

Three years mechanic experience; hydraulic experience preferred.

Certified welder (optional).

Use of forklift and overhead cranes.

Stand frequently (10 lbs or less), walk frequently (11-20 lbs), sit frequently (21-50 lbs), handling/fingering frequently (51-100 lbs), reach outward frequently (over 100 lbs), reach above shoulder frequently, push (not applicable), climb frequently (12 lbs or less), crawl frequently (13-25 lbs), squat or kneel frequently (26-40 lbs), bend frequently (41-100 lbs).

Works indoors in an uncontrolled temperature environment with occasional work outside.
