Maintenance Planner

Capstone Search Advisors has partnered with a well-established local manufacturing company to identify a detail-oriented and proactive Maintenance Planner
.

This is a key role within the maintenance and operations team, focused on improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and driving continuous improvement across the facility.

• Develop detailed preventive and predictive maintenance plans, including labor, parts, tools, and estimated timelines
• Plan and schedule work orders within CMMS to maximize technician efficiency and minimize equipment downtime
• Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Production, and Operations to align maintenance activities with production schedules
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure critical components are available
• Review completed work orders for accuracy and documentation compliance
• Track and analyze KPIs such as downtime, PM compliance, backlog, and overall equipment reliability
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to increase uptime and reduce maintenance costs

• 3+ years of maintenance planning or maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of CMMS systems
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in pharmaceuticals, food, packaging, or high-speed manufacturing environments is a plus
