Position: Manufacturing Specialist I – Cooler Assembly

Job Title: Specialist I Manufacturing - Cooler Assembly

Location: On-Site, Dallas, TX

Employment Type: Contract to Perm

Industry: Defense and Aerospace

Compensation: $22.00/hr

Schedule: 1st shift - 6:00am-3:30pm (every other Friday off) for approx. 6 months with possibility of moving to either 2nd shift or weekend shift

About the Opportunity

Join a hands‑on engineering team where you'll perform precision electro‑mechanical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting on advanced electronic systems. In this role, you'll work with detailed technical drawings, small‑scale components, and specialized tools to deliver high‑quality, reliable products in a fast‑paced, quality‑driven environment. Ideal candidates bring strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a background in complex assembly.

What You'll Do
  • Perform advanced electro‑mechanical assembly, including prep, mechanical builds, harnesses, cables, PCB sub‑assemblies, spray application, and inspection within a production environment
  • Execute precision assembly, rework, and testing on complex electronic systems, working with small‑scale and near‑microscopic components
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, process flow instructions, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications to ensure accurate builds
  • Perform soldering and component installation to contract specifications using a wide range of tools and equipment
  • Troubleshoot, test, and support prototype and production units to ensure performance, quality, and reliability
  • Work with precision tools, wiring, chemicals, and epoxy while adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to meet production deadlines, maintain quality standards, and ensure efficient workflow

Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in soldering
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical‑mechanical assembly
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with small‑scale / precision tools

Additional Information
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. less than 5% per week, standing or walking 50% of the time
