JOB DETAILS
2nd shift Monday thru Friday 6PM to 6AM
Saturdays and Sundays as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast‑paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.
Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass‑produce windows, doors, and glass units according to production schedules and specifications.
Flex on different workstations as needed.
Support window production operations, including delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials and finished products.
Perform workstation functions using hand tools and power tools such as saws, welders, routers, and other production equipment.
Operate machinery and equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
Read and interpret work orders, labels, schedules, and simple written instructions to ensure accurate production.
Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and team leaders to complete tasks.
Use a tape measure to verify product dimensions and ensure compliance with specifications.
Inspect products during production to identify defects and maintain quality standards.
Perform basic mathematical calculations, including fraction and decimal conversions, as required for measurements and production tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety guidelines and procedures.
Provide on‑the‑job training and support to new employees as needed.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QualificationsAbility to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
Ability to read measurements using a tape measure.
Experience using hand and power tools preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
