To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Forklift Operator located in Dallas, Texas. Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating a forklift to process inbound and outbound shipment activities.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Typical Day- Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks in a safe manner.
- Verify the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; check against suppliers’ count and immediately report discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing department per company policy.
- Notify supervisor of major discrepancies, over‑shipments, or substitutions.
- Stage received material and product in appropriate location.
- Create shipping and receiving receipts within system.
- Perform inspections on received material and product; document and refuse delivery if material and product does not meet quality standards.
- Maintain inventory management systems to ensure that orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to accounting or other associated departments, as required.
- Stage product in appropriate staging area for pick‑up by shipping carrier.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating a forklift required.
- At least one year of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or any related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiar with cycle counting, picking and posting, and working with an MRP/ERP system.
- Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor.
