Job Overview
Eaton’s ES AMER MFGSC division is seeking a Packer - 1st Shift at our Dallas, TX facility.
The hourly rate is $18.00 per hour. Core hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and can be mandatory at times.
All new hires in hourly positions are placed in a 90‑day introductory period addressing safety, conduct, attendance, quality, and productivity, after which they will be evaluated for continued employment.

- Utilize packing slips to generate and print move tickers, break down materials, sort styles, verify counts, and restock warehouse locations using RF scanners.
- Verify styles and quantities of picked materials, visually inspect products, scan and place them in shipping cartons, add packing material to prevent damage, and place packing lists, content labels, and shipping labels as needed.
- Resolve discrepancies and research all possible solutions to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, report unsafe acts, and perform work of equal or lower classification if necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
- Only candidates within a 50‑mile radius of Dallas, TX are considered. Active‑Duty Military Service members are exempt from the geographical limitation.
- Position is not sponsored for immigration or work permits, including CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, H‑1B, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Minimum one year of experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Minimum six months experience with forklift, cherry picker, or reach truck.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
- Ability to meet expectations during a 90‑day introductory period.
