Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Assembler to perform final quality inspections on completed electrical panels and enclosures. The ideal candidate will ensure all panels meet the highest standards of quality and safety, working closely with various teams to resolve any issues that arise.
Responsibilities- Perform final quality inspections on completed electrical panels and enclosures.
- Verify panel build against electrical schematics, BOMs, and layout drawings.
- Inspect wiring for proper routing, terminations, labeling, color coding, and workmanship.
- Verify torque, grounding, bonding, and component mounting.
- Inspect panel layout, clearances, and overall workmanship.
- Ensure labeling, nameplates, and markings are accurate and complete.
- Confirm compliance with applicable quality and safety requirements.
- Identify, document, and report non‑conformances.
- Collaborate with wiring, assembly, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Verify packaging, documentation, and panel protection prior to shipment.
- Experience in final quality control or inspection of electrical control panels.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and panel layout drawings.
- Strong understanding of electrical workmanship standards.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with inspection tools and quality control checklists.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly, specifically in panel building.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints.
- Ability to use hand tools, drills, and screwdrivers.
- Familiarity with wire gauge and sizing.
- Experience in a panel shop or electrical manufacturing environment preferred.
- Inspection of UL 508A industrial control panels and understanding of NEMA enclosure requirements.
Work in a climate‑controlled facility, standing for the majority of the shift, as part of a team of over 200 professionals.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 – $26.00/hr.
