Overview

At Niagara, we’re looking for Parts Room Associates who want to contribute to our mission of providing customers the highest quality, most affordable bottled water.

Responsibilities
  • Purchasing: Restocks consumables, critical spare parts, and parts inventory; provides PO delivery status updates; corrects and manages MRO outstanding issues; receives all UPS/Fed Ex deliveries; manages inter‑organizational shipping and receiving.
  • Inventory Management: Manages physical spare parts inventory and ensures proper storage locations; maintains inventory in Oracle EBS & Power Pick Global systems; performs weekly/quarterly cycle counts; organizes parts room per 5S Process (Sustain, Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize); tracks and files warranty claims with vendors; identifies parts in E‑CAT system.
  • Maintenance Planning: Generates and completes PM work order scripts; manages work order backlog; facilitates maintenance planning meetings; assists technicians during downtime events; provides database support on site as subject‑matter expert; assists with annual machine rebuilds; creates PM plans for line downtime; coordinates with Maintenance and Production teams to execute repair work orders; evaluates PM effectiveness; ensures material and labor costs are properly captured;

    maintains excellent relationships with outside vendors; purchases items/parts availability; attends monthly parts room calls; tracks and completes work orders in both preventative maintenance and repairs; updates job knowledge through educational opportunities.
  • Ensures a safe work environment by following safety standards and legal regulations; maintains regular attendance.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2‑year experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 2‑year experience in a position or similar field; customer service or inventory experience a plus.
  • Experience managing people or projects (0years) – may include a combination of work experience and education.
  • Proficient in inventory management systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar; proficient with CMMS/ERP systems; strong MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word skills.
  • Preferred: 4‑year experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment; 4‑year experience in a similar position; 2‑year experience managing people or projects; experience with Oracle EBS purchasing and inventory.
Education
  • Minimum required:
    High School Diploma.
  • Preferred:
    Associate Degree or equivalent certification.
