Forklift Operator – $19.15 (2nd Shift, Warehouse)
Position:
Forklift Operator / Material Handler
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday (2:00 pm‑10:30 pm) with some weekend work and overtime.
Location:
Cordova, TN (Warehouse).
Full‑time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift and related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks in the prescribed manner.
- Perform general housekeeping: sweep, vacuum, paint, lubricate (oil, grease), cleaning, power washing.
- Handle pallets, transfer operations, and reconcile finished product.
- Utilize stretch wrappers and other equipment as required.
- Execute pick sheets and make changes as needed.
- Operate roll‑up doors and understand inventory procedures.
- Communicate professionally with visitors and customers.
Key
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Forklift certification and training.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces and heights.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience with hazardous chemical handling.
- Proficiency with stretch wrappers and forklift operations.
