Material Handler, Forklift Operator
JOB DETAILS
Monday
- Friday (weekends based on production)
5am - 430pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSOBILITIES- Unload trucks in a timely fashion
- Double check material to make sure it is delivered to the correct facility
- Sign any BOL when needed by the driver from received item(s)
- Receive material into the Oracle system and put material away (after you label items with LPNs) into valid inventory locations
- Collect all received in packing slips and place into a folder at the end of each day and turn it in to Supervisor
- Make sure the dock looks organized and clean daily
- Inventory Count your assigned inventory location on the mandatory day
- Correct all inventory discrepancies on the same day
- Clean up your inventory area daily
- Make sure hot material gets to the line as soon as it gets to dock, communicate with Supervisor once it is delivered
- Unload/load trucks
- Audit locations
- Possess outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Be able to quickly develop comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center.
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Be able to build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
- Know of, be able to apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment.
- Be able to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the Profit Center.
- Be able to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for warehouse operations.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English. (bi-lingual is a plus)
- Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
