CNC Programmer-DIRECT HIRE-$75-95k Job Description
This role focuses on programming and supporting CNC operations for 3-axis and 5-axis routers and CNC mills using Mastercam and Solid Works. You will prepare machines, load jobs, and oversee the full programming process to ensure high-quality and efficient production.
Responsibilities- Program CNC machines, including 3-axis and 5-axis routers and CNC mills, using Mastercam and Solid Works.
- Prepare CNC machines for production by setting up tools, fixtures, and work pieces according to specifications.
- Load and run CNC programs, monitoring operations to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements.
- Oversee the full programming process from initial setup through final production, making adjustments as needed to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with a small production team to plan work, prioritize jobs, and meet production schedules.
- Troubleshoot programming or machining issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate documentation of programs, setups, and process changes for repeatability and continuous improvement.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by refining programs and machining strategies to improve efficiency and quality.
- 3–5 years of experience in CNC programming.
- Hands-on experience programming 3-axis and 5-axis CNC routers.
- Hands-on experience programming CNC mills.
- Proficiency with Mastercam for creating and editing CNC programs.
- Experience using Solid Works to support programming and part setup.
- Ability to prepare, load, and oversee CNC machines through the full production cycle.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a small production team environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills for troubleshooting machining and programming issues.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with production and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy.

WorkEnvironment
You will work as part of a small production team of approximately 2–3 people in a collaborative, hands‑on manufacturing environment. The standard schedule runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, providing a consistent daytime workweek. The role requires appropriate shop‑floor attire, including closed‑toe shoes, to support a safe and professional workplace.
Job Type & LocationPermanent position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75,000.00 – $95,000.00 / yr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match.
