Receiving Coordinator

Position Summary The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming materials and supplies. This role ensures production materials are accurately accounted for and properly staged to support manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments of raw materials, packaging supplies, and parts

Verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips

Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies

Record receiving data in inventory or tracking systems

Label and stage materials in designated warehouse locations

Communicate shortages or damaged goods to Procurement Maintain organized receiving and storage areas

Coordinate with forklift operators and warehouse staff

Follow safety and material handling procedures

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Warehouse or receiving experience preferred

Basic computer and data entry skills

Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
