Head Baker

Are you an expert bread baker with a passion for directing a team in a high-volume production bakery? Come join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Actively participate in and direct large volume bread production in a fast-paced environment

Hire, coach, manage and evaluate the performance of bakery team members

Maintain safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with health codes

Establish quality and food production controls to minimize food and supply waste

Maintain recipe integrity to support quality of products

Communicate professionally with all individuals in the organization

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of 3 years of high-volume upscale bakery experience

Knowledge and experience of high volume bread production and merchandising

Culinary degree preferred

Proven experience in managing and maintaining food and labor aspects of P&L and budgeting functions for multiple units

Well-organized with proven ability to meet timelines and show results through initiatives

Possess strong leadership skills with an ability to build a team to reach desired goals

Able to infuse new ideas, systems and programs to achieve objectives

Positive, optimistic, enthusiastic and self-confident attitude
