Grinder/Shop Labor
Join our dynamic team at the Dallas plant where you will play a crucial role in the production process as a Grinder Loader. You will be responsible for regrinding materials to be reused in production, ensuring efficiency and quality in our operations.
Responsibilities- Operate extrusion machinery to weigh inventory and follow the grinding schedule.
- Load materials into the grinder and convert them into pellet form for reprocessing.
- Stage materials for upcoming jobs to ensure smooth production flow.
- Perform cleanup in production and storage areas to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Adhere to plant safety rules and wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, and gloves.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and anticipate needs to manage time efficiently.
- Adapt to changes in the work environment and handle multiple competing demands calmly and logically.
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of basic math for quick and accurate calculations.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Comfortable working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in production, machine operation, and quality assurance.
- Forklift experience and previous machine operating experience are a plus.
- Understanding of reading and interpreting work orders.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
