Grinder/Shop Labor

Join our dynamic team at the Dallas plant where you will play a crucial role in the production process as a Grinder Loader. You will be responsible for regrinding materials to be reused in production, ensuring efficiency and quality in our operations.

• Operate extrusion machinery to weigh inventory and follow the grinding schedule.
• Load materials into the grinder and convert them into pellet form for reprocessing.
• Stage materials for upcoming jobs to ensure smooth production flow.
• Perform cleanup in production and storage areas to maintain a safe and organized environment.
• Adhere to plant safety rules and wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, and gloves.
• Prioritize tasks effectively and anticipate needs to manage time efficiently.
• Adapt to changes in the work environment and handle multiple competing demands calmly and logically.

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of basic math for quick and accurate calculations.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Comfortable working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in production, machine operation, and quality assurance.
• Forklift experience and previous machine operating experience are a plus.
• Understanding of reading and interpreting work orders.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
