Grinder - Day Shift

Position: Grinder - Day Shift (7:00am-7:00pm) $20.00/hr
Grinder - Day Shift (7:00am - 7:00pm) $20.00/hr.

Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Grinder to be based out of Dallas, TX. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this person will be responsible for regrinding materials for use.

What you'll do:

* Extrusion

* Weigh Inventory

* Follow grinding schedule

* Load material into the grind and grind into pellet form to be used for reprocessing

* Stage material for upcoming jobs

* Other

* Perform maintenance and cleanup for production and storage areas.

* Know and follow plant safety rules and wear proper PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, and gloves)

* Able to prioritize tasks and anticipate needs in order to effectively manage time in order to accomplish all tasks

* Proficient with all material handling and packaging devices including forklifts, pallet jacks, banders, and nail guns.

* Other tasks as assigned

What you'll bring:

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred

* Forklift Experience

* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

* Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations.

* Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.

* Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner.

* Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.

* Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
