1st Shift Monday - Friday (Weekend based on Production)
6:00am-6:00pm
The Lead Production Associate position is a professional in charge of guiding, monitoring, and leading a team. They are responsible for motivating the team and inspiring positive communication within the team to work together toward achieving goals.
Duties and Responsibilities- Guide and oversee the production team’s diverse activities, such as operating machinery, managing production lines, processing materials, packaging products, and organizing inventory.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with safety protocols and uphold the highest quality standards.
- Oversee quality control by managing policies, processes, and procedures and address any issues with purchased materials, work‑in‑progress (WIP), and finished goods.
- Inspire and lead employees to enhance productivity and achieve set production targets.
- Cultivate a collaborative team atmosphere; promote open dialogue and teamwork.
- Establish and communicate clear team objectives; ensure goals are understood and pursued by the team.
- Partner with supervisor to ensure assigned tasks are completed.
- Collaborate with production supervisor to manage daily operations; track team performance, report on key metrics, and resolve problems swiftly.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department to confirm that all equipment is operational and meets performance standards.
- Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills combined with the ability to coach, train, and mentor all levels of associate.
- While performing the duties of the job, the associate is regularly required to stand. The associate is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, turning or twisting, pushing, and talk or hear.
- Ability to develop and play a team member role with other plant members. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends, as well as off shift as required.
