Atkore, a recipient of a Great Place to Work© certification and a Top Workplaces USA award, is searching for a Night Production Shift Supervisor to be based out of our Dallas, TX manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Production Manager, this person will be responsible for supervising production associates and processes that have responsibility for manufacturing PVC Injection Molded products.
What you'll do:
- Lead using the Atkore Business System and Lean Daily Management within your team, utilizing Lean tools for improvement projects focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.
- Supervise and support injection molding operations, including machine setup, start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and optimize cycle times, material usage, and machine efficiency to achieve production goals.
- Ensure proper material handling to maintain quality standards.
- Implement cross-training activities to ensure proper operation of injection molding machines and maximize team flexibility.
- Coach team members to identify process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, production schedules, and quality specifications, including dimensional checks and visual inspections.
- Partner with maintenance for mold changeovers and preventive maintenance.
- Manage vacation schedules and overtime.

What you'll bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience in injection molding operations strongly preferred, including:
Machine setup and parameter adjustments (temperature, pressure, cycle time), Troubleshooting machine and mold issues, Understanding of resins and how to process. - High energy, strong work ethic, schedule flexibility, and ability to work additional hours based on business needs.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, including conflict resolution.
- Continuous improvement background (GEMBA, 5S, Standard Work, Kaizen, Kanban, etc.) and passion for growing your Lean experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment focused on problem-solving and continuous improvement.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $ 66,320 - $91,190 . Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time.
Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
