Job Description

Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour

Seeking a high-performing Fabricator with experience in architectural metalwork—specifically stairs, rails, and custom assemblies. This role is critical to maintaining our standard of precision fabrication, field readiness, and install efficiency. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for individuals who can read prints, think through assemblies, and execute with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Fabricate stairs, rail systems, and custom metal assemblies per shop drawings.
  • Interpret prints, layouts, and field conditions with accuracy.
  • Perform fit‑up, welding, and finishing with high attention to detail.
  • Select proper welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW).
  • Operate fabrication equipment (saws, rollers, drill press, grinders, etc.).
  • Build jigs and fixtures to ensure repeatable accuracy.
  • Inspect welds and assemblies for quality before release.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Support field teams when required.
What We Expect (Non‑Negotiables)
  • Ability to read and understand shop drawings independently.
  • Strong fit‑up skills (tight joints, alignment, minimal rework).
  • Proven welding capability in multiple processes.
  • Consistent output of clean, accurate work.
  • Accountability for quality.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 2+ years in metal fabrication.
  • Experience with stairs, rails, or structural assemblies preferred.
  • Familiarity with shop tools and sequencing.
  • Basic math and measurement proficiency.
  • Certifications (Preferred): SMAW, GMAW (MIG), FCAW, OSHA 10, forklift certification, First Aid / CPR.
  • Experience with custom architectural metals.
  • Ability to problem‑solve.
  • Shop‑based fabrication with up to 25% field exposure.
  • Must lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in heat, dust, and noise.
  • Climbs ladders and works at heights.

Compensation & Benefits
