* Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced YE Process Technician to join our team supporting one of our clean rooms. This technician will be an invaluable part of the team, interfacing and communicating with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently. Additionally, you will provide process and product support to the organization and address production concerns and disposition of production material.
A YE technician is responsible for leading efforts to effectively work independently to tasks related to Yield enhancement on specific shift in YE area. Support and manage inline inspection for production material to monitor the quality of the product through the production process. The YE technician is responsible for all aspect in the YE; such as monitoring of defects through the production process.

* Responsibilities include:
*
* + Yield enhancement specific background with ability to identify the defects and by using various available tools with the system trouble shoot the cause of the defects
+ Perform technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers
+ Communicate efficiently the defect information to engineering and assist in root cause identification
+ Work in collaboration with all members of the wafer fab manufacturing process to efficiently and effectively communicate and contain defect related issues
+ Work with all team members to meet production goals, quality, safety and cost objectives
+ Monitor and assist other factory team members to ensure YE tools are running optimally
+ Meet production output and work with maintenance team for maintenance activities along with manufacturing team members
+ Collaborate and coordinate actions across modules with other leads, coordinators, and supervisors
+ Mentor and train new team members and act as a trainer and auditor, as needed
+ Provide reporting and participate in required meetings
+ Monitor and drive conformance to factory protocols such as procedures, wafer handling, safety, PPE, etc..
+ Actively participate in continuous improvement activities including root cause analysis, preventative actions, and communication fan-out to the team
+ Leads or participates in projects and/or improvement team
+ Identifies barriers to teamwork and takes a leadership role in resolving teamwork issues
+ Effectively resolves conflicts within team and across groups
+ Monitor, audit and provide guidance to line operators once the product is on the line
+ Test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel

* Minimum requirements:
*
* + High School diploma/GED
+ 18 years of age or older
+ One of the following:‒2 years of semiconductor experience as Technician OR‒8 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience
+ Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule

* + Proven performance as a YE Technician
+ Ability to identify, multi-task, and resolve multiple priority issues quickly and efficiently to improve overall fab performance
