Location: Dallas, TX
Pay Rate: $24.00–$27.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team in Dallas, TX. This role is responsible for welding aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys while producing high-quality welds that meet engineering specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint reading skills, experience with aluminum sheet metal, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and other metal alloys.

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.

Set up welding equipment, select proper filler materials, and adjust machine settings.

Lay out, fit, align, tack, and weld components to required specifications.

Inspect finished welds using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and rulers.

Monitor weld quality to prevent distortion, warping, or defects.

Operate hand tools, grinders, and other fabrication equipment safely.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow all company safety policies and welding procedures.

Assist other welders and production personnel as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent training.

At least 2 years of experience welding aluminum sheet metal (required).

Current Welding Certification required.

Strong understanding of TIG welding techniques, equipment setup, and weld quality standards.

Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools including calipers, gauges, and rulers.

Experience producing consistent, high-quality welds while meeting production deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
