About Us

MCI is a 46-year-old industry leader in the design, manufacture, and assembly of electrical controls, electrical enclosures, irrigation pumps and controls, municipal and commercial pump stations, water purification systems and design-to-order metal fabrications. We serve a variety of industries with standard and custom products including water pumping, oil production‑drill and refining controls, wastewater treatment, conveying, baggage conveying, handling, and more!

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC lathes to machine precision components to specification.
  • Operate CNC routers for cutting, shaping, and machining materials as required.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Set up machines, load materials, monitor machining processes, and inspect finished parts to ensure quality.
  • Maintain equipment by performing routine upkeep and reporting issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to ensure efficient workflow and accurate production.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Proficiency operating CNC lathes and/or CNC routers (both strongly preferred).
  • Experience with manual mills or manual lathes is a plus.
  • Ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with G‑code, machining parameters, and work holding methods is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in programming in Fusion or Mastercam.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience preferred; training or technical coursework acceptable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational certification a plus.
  • Must be able to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks related to machining.
