Position Summary Material Handler will be responsible for banding material and preparing for staging and shipping. They will need to have great attention to detail and the ability to work within set timelines. The Material Handler will need to demonstrate the ability to work safely and efficiently to ensure it is safe for transport.

Schedule & Pay Monday-Friday: 2pm-10:30pm - $17.50/hour Essential Responsibilities Ensures all orders are organized, leveled, and tightly built for transport.

Bands material, safely using equipment provided to secure materials for shipment.

Labels banded carts ensuring accuracy of units, destination, handler, etc.

Sustains a clean work area by sweeping, rebinding loose bundles, keeps dust collector clean, etc. to prepare for the next shift.

Communicates any discrepancies, product issues or safety issues with Supervisor.

Complies with all company policies and procedures.

May be required to successfully pass PIT training while following all safety requirements established within Novo.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required)
Must be 18 years of age or older.

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Experience with material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, is preferred.

Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes is advantageous.

Effectively performs all essential functions, including physical requirements.

Basic math, interpersonal/team, and reasoning skills

Use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company approved tools while remaining aware of hazards. and maintaining a safe work environment Ability to move awkward product lengths and weights.

Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and documenting inventory.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility in scheduling – able to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment
