NSC Staffing has an immediate opening for a Saw Operator in Dallas Texas Shift: 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm, Monday – Friday Pay: $21/hour Steel toe boots and jeans required

We are seeking a reliable Saw Operator to join our production team. You will operate industrial band saws to cut steel beams, pipes, and plates to precise customer specifications. This role requires high attention to detail, strong math skills, and a commitment to shop safety.

• Operate Machinery:
  Set up and run industrial band saw
• Read Blueprints:
  Interpret work orders, blueprints, and cutting sheets accurately.
• Measure Material:
  Use calipers, micrometers, and tape measures for precision cuts.
• Quality Control:
  Inspect finished cuts to ensure they meet tolerance standards and remove burrs.
• Maintenance:
  Perform daily equipment cleaning and routine preventative maintenance.

• Experience:
  
  1+ years of experience operating saws in a steel or manufacturing environment.
• Math
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong ability to read a tape measure and calculate fractions/decimals.
• Physical Stamina:
  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

This role may involve cross-training in other production areas, offering opportunities for advancement within the manufacturing or steel industry.
