Material Handler, Production QC/QA, Forklift Operator, Production Associate / Production Line
Purpose
Responsible for safely loading, unloading and moving materials in the plant.
Responsibilities- Alert Setup Technician and Changeover Technician using the light system to keep them informed of production status
- Keep the work area clean and clutter free: pick up scrap material around the production lines and cut scrap off cores.
- Perform quality control checks on product and ensure all are properly labeled before stacking finished product.
- Package bags/rolls and keep accurate counts in the computer system.
- Help the team give 10 and 20 minute breaks.
- Alert Setup Techs to questions or concerns by utilizing white stack light.
- Assemble boxes.
- Perform quality control checks on product and labels.
- Stack finished product.
- Help pick up scrap around lines, including change‑over rolls.
- Throw away all labels from previous job.
- Keep work area clean and clutter free; including tables, scales and floors.
- Weigh boxes and enter into the computer system.
- Pull resin as needed.
- Weigh, package and label finished product.
- Might be used for training a new person.
- Work a 12‑hour day, 4 days a week; every other weekend is mandatory.
- May be required to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
