Smart Manufacturing & Factory Technology Lead

Compensation: Up to $300,000 Base + Bonus

A leading advanced manufacturing organization is seeking a senior technology leader to drive factory automation, smart manufacturing, and digital transformation initiatives within a highly automated production environment.

This executive will serve as the primary technology partner to site leadership, overseeing manufacturing systems, automation, robotics, and operational technology strategies that directly impact productivity, quality, capacity, and business performance.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of manufacturing operations expertise, technology leadership, and organizational influence, with a proven track record of leading large-scale automation or manufacturing technology teams in complex production environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with site leadership to align technology strategy with business objectives.
  • Lead manufacturing IT, automation, and smart manufacturing initiatives.
  • Drive improvements in factory performance, operational efficiency, and system reliability.
  • Champion digital transformation, automation, AI, and next-generation manufacturing technologies.
  • Build and develop high-performing engineering and technical teams.
  • Lead cross-functional programs that enhance productivity, quality, and capacity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, automation, industrial technology, or semiconductor environments.
  • Proven leadership experience managing engineering, manufacturing IT, or automation organizations.
  • Strong background in manufacturing systems, automation, and operational technology.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale transformational initiatives.
