Responsibilities Conduct regularly scheduled maintenance on equipment and facilities

Maintain control and motor systems

Diagnose problems with equipment & repair/replace defective parts

Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed

Support & comply with safety & environmental guidelines

Communicate daily with Production and Shipping Managers Support & comply with safety & environmental guidelines

Diagnose problems with equipment & repair/replace defective parts Communicate daily with the Plant Manager and Warehouse Manager to develop a daily list of priorities for the maintenance team Drive 5S workplace organization in the maintenance area and support the initiative throughout the manufacturing and warehousing operations

Research and purchase parts as needed for machine breakdowns and/or spare parts replacement

Improve machine up time by ensuring all CM’s and PMs are properly performed and documented in MaintainXOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

Basic math skills

Good English language skills

Welding skills

Strong mechanical knowledge

Strong electrical knowledge

Good communication skills

Ability to troubleshoot & solve problems

Advanced manufacturing mechanical experience

Advanced manufacturing controls and wiring experience

Basic understanding of motor controls and ability to read wiring diagrams MS Office literate

No fear of heights

Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment

Prior process machinery trouble shooting

Physical Demands Regularly required to stand, walk, communicate, see and hear Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.

Frequently climb towers up to 35 feet high Regularly required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stretch or bend Strong motor skills
