Megger has an immediate opening for an Manufacturing Engineer to optimize and enhance the production of advanced electrical test equipment. This position at Megger serves as a key contributor to the operations management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and lead troubleshooting efforts involving complex electrical components, assemblies, and full system production issues.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to quality, customer satisfaction, cost reduction, safety, on-time delivery, and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive standardization of manufacturing processes and develop meaningful performance metrics.
  • Develop capital plans for electrical manufacturing equipment, including specifications, sourcing, installation, and operational qualification.
  • Create, update, and refine production work instructions for electrical assembly and testing processes.
  • Participate in design-for-manufacturability reviews for new products in collaboration with development engineering teams.
  • Develop safe work practices and support the mitigation of hazardous electrical and industrial conditions.
  • Analyze production workflows to improve labor efficiency, material utilization, and overall operational performance.
  • Develop and deliver training materials for production and assembly personnel.
  • Provide technical support to the quality department in resolving electrical product quality issues and implementing effective corrective actions.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
  • 5–8 years of experience in an electrical or electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
  • Effective communication skills for interactions with production and assembly teams
  • Familiarity with SMT and through-hole manufacturing technologies
  • Experience with IPC-610 and ISO 9000 standards
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred
