We are seeking a dedicated Production Assembly Team Lead to oversee and coordinate daily activities on the production floor. This position requires a detail-oriented leader who can guide and support the team, ensure production goals are met, uphold quality standards, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate a team of assembly operators to meet daily production targets efficiently and effectively.
- Assign tasks and shift responsibilities among team members, ensuring balanced workloads.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to build skills, maximize performance, and promote career growth within the team.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular quality checks of the assembled products to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, such as equipment malfunctions or workflow bottlenecks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, team performance, and quality metrics.
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations and implement company policies and procedures.
- Identify and suggest opportunities for improving operations, efficiency, and productivity.
- Participate in regular meetings with department management and act as a liaison between the team and management, ensuring clear communication of updates, goals, and challenges.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Basic understanding of electronic components and assembly processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Willingness to undergo new training and certifications for assigned areas.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining calm under pressure.
- Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing production setting.
- Exposure to moderate noise levels, machinery, and tools.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
