Job Description

The Intake Technician manages project intake to include physical and digital files, ERP (Net Suite) assessments, and product ordering while supporting lab operations and production goals. They review historical documents, input data into Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Net Suite, and help resolve workflow issues. Additionally, they assist the Intake Team Leads and contribute to continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and customer service.

Responsibilities

and Duties
  • Handles manually inputting important project details directly into an electronic format, creating spreadsheets with large amounts of information.
  • Ability to use constructed data spreadsheets to order products from vendors.
  • Manages hard media receipt, virus scans, file transfers across networks, and prepares file listings.
  • Supports lab workflow as detailed by the Intake Team Leads.
  • Develops cross-functional relationships with other departments, as well as with customers.
  • Maintain a culture of Safety including leading by example.
  • Adheres to chain of custody processes and procedures to ensure customer materials are tracked and accounted for while in our possession.
  • Complies with data integrity and client security policies.
  • Implement operational policies and procedures.
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
  • Provide daily production/quality feedback.
  • Submits project intakes and ERP:
    Net Suite assessments in a timely manner.
  • Builds partnerships with operational peers to ensure open communication and seamless collaboration.
  • Meets with Kofile management and staff to meet our customer’s needs and delivery schedules.
  • Works alongside team members driving efficiency and quality workmanship.
  • Ensures that established work standards are being followed and work quantity and quality standards are being consistently met.
  • Maintains quality while enforcing organization standards.
  • Communicates any production delays or problems immediately to the staff or to Kofile management.
  • Ability to operate a power industrial lift for the loading, unloading and movement of product.
  • Provides accurate, highly detail templates for ordering key product for production to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Orders placed in a timely fashion so as not to delay the production schedule and forecast.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience with Data Entry in a production environment, or in a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office:
    Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Must be able to sit or stand extended periods of time
  • Able to lift minimum 25 lbs. repetitively
  • Minimum 50 wpm typing ability
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to self-lead / self-motivate
  • A solid understanding of operations management and organizational methods
  • Problem solving skills
  • Detailed-oriented with great organizational attributes
  • Leadership ability, in addition to a highly organized approach to leadership
