Role Description

The Die Cutter Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring die-cutting equipment to produce high-quality packaging components according to job specifications. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting work orders, preparing materials, performing machine adjustments, checking samples for accuracy, and maintaining consistent output throughout the production run.

The Die Cutter Operator will inspect finished pieces for quality, perform basic troubleshooting, and coordinate with supervisors, press operators, and finishing teams to ensure efficient workflow. The role also involves routine cleaning and preventive maintenance of die-cutting equipment, adherence to safety and quality standards, and accurate documentation of production activities.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English and interpret job tickets, production schedules, and technical instructions related to printing and packaging.
• Experience operating die-cutting or similar converting equipment, including machine setup, adjustment, and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills, with the ability to measure, inspect, and verify finished product against specifications.
• Good mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools, equipment controls, and routine preventive maintenance tasks.
• Commitment to safety practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment and compliance with company safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production, finishing, and supervisory teams.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, handle materials, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in printing, packaging, or manufacturing is preferred
