The Manager, Calendar & Promotions is responsible for building, managing, and optimizing the annual and quarterly marketing calendar across Brix Holdings’ portfolio of brands, including Friendly’s Restaurants, Clean Juice, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, Red Mango Frozen Yogurt, Smoothie Factory, and Souper Salad.

This role leads promotional planning and offer strategy, ensuring the right cadence, depth, and architecture to drive traffic and sales while protecting brand health and operational feasibility. Working closely with Brand Strategy, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Brand Engagement, the Manager ensures promotions are thoughtfully sequenced, executable, and continuously optimized based on performance and guest response.

Marketing Calendar Ownership
  • Build, own, and manage the annual and quarterly marketing calendar, aligning brand initiatives, promotions, and campaigns with business priorities.
  • Ensure calendar balance across brand‑building initiatives, core promotions, LTOs, and tactical traffic drivers.
  • Maintain clear visibility and documentation of planned activities to support cross‑functional alignment.
Promotional Strategy & Offer Architecture
  • Develop promotional cadence, depth, and offer architecture that drives incremental traffic while supporting long‑term brand health.
  • Define promotional roles by channel, including dine‑in, off‑premise, digital, and loyalty‑driven offers.
  • Partner with Brand Strategy to ensure promotions align with brand positioning and strategic priorities.
Cross‑Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate promotional timing and execution with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Culinary to ensure feasibility, readiness, and profitability.
  • Lead cross‑functional reviews and alignment meetings to finalize promotional plans and resolve risks.
  • Ensure promotional decisions consider operational complexity, cost implications, and supply constraints.
Incremental Growth & Testing
  • Identify whitespace and test‑and‑learn opportunities to drive incremental traffic, frequency, and check growth.
  • Support controlled testing of offers, timing, and mechanics to inform future promotional strategies.
  • Evaluate performance of test initiatives and recommend scale‑up or refinement.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
  • Track promotional performance across brands and channels, including traffic, sales lift, and guest response.
  • Partner with analytics and loyalty teams to assess effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Use insights and learnings to refine promotional cadence, depth, and timing over time.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of promotional strategy, offer design, and calendar planning.
  • Experience balancing traffic‑driving promotions with brand and margin considerations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate performance and make data‑informed recommendations.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple brands, calendars, and stakeholders.
  • Highly collaborative with experience partnering across operations, finance, supply chain, and marketing.
  • Clear communicator with the ability to align diverse teams around shared plans and priorities.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, multi‑brand, and evolving environment.
Experience & Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required.
  • 5–8 years of experience in marketing, promotions, brand management, or revenue management roles; restaurant, retail, or consumer brand experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing marketing calendars and developing promotional strategies.
  • Experience partnering with operations, finance, and supply chain teams to execute promotions.
  • Experience supporting multi‑brand or franchise‑driven organizations is a plus.
